Comparison of three monomer cement grinding aids

Cement is a very basic material in the construction industry. The following is a comparison of three monomer cement grinding aids: triethanolamine (TEA), triisopropanolamine (TIPA), and diethanolisopropanolomine (DEIPA). The physical and chemical properties of cement have different effects on grinding aid and cement performance.

(1) TEA, TIPA and DEIPA are all good cement grinding aids, and they all have good grinding aid effects.

(2) TEA has excellent early strength improvement, but can not even weaken the late strength of cement. TIPA can not promote the early strength of cement, but it can improve the properties of later strength. DEIPA has the advantages of both, and it has obvious improvement on early strength and late strength.

(3) Due to the prevalence of chlorine salt early strength agents and TIPA compared with TEA, it has many advantages in dispersibility, enhanced age, application conditions and relative cost. Therefore, the application is gradually increasing, and triethanolamine is more and more widely substituted.

(4) DEIPA has a strong advantage in early and late strength of cement strength, and will replace TEA and TIPA. At the same time, DEIPA will not pollute the environment during use due to its low toxicity, which is in line with the current trend of low carbon and environmental protection of cement grinding aids. Coupled with its good compatibility with other additives, industrial applications will inevitably increase.
