Effect of Synthesized Grinding Aid to Titanium Slag Cement

A new type of cement grinding aid was synthesized from triisopropanolamine, diethanolamine, acrylic acid, HPEG400 (Methyl allyl alcohol polyoxyethylene ether,Polycarboxylate superplasticizer monomer )and other raw materials. The effect of grinding aid, physical and mechanical properties and hydration products on titanium slag cement was tested. The results showed that After grinding aids, the specific surface area of titanium slag cement increased by 9.5%~14.7%, and the compressive strength of 3d and 28d increased by 9.0%~21.2% and 7.2%~10.6%, respectively. XRD and TG/DTA test results It shows that the new grinding aid can promote the hydration of cement, but it will not produce a new hydration phase.
