Properties: 

Triisopropanolamine is a white solid or white slightly viscous liquid at room temperature. It is neutral, non irritating to skin and eyes, oil soluble and stable in air.

Industrial uses:

Triisopropanolamine reacts with fatty acids to form a foam stabilizer amide for detergents.

Triisopropanolamine can be used as various neutralizers, in addition to being neutralized with thioglycolic acid as a perm solution, it can also be used as a pesticide neutralizer.

Triisopropanolamine can be used as emulsifier and dispersant of wax, fiber assistant, insecticide, cutting oil and coating.

Triisopropanolamine can be used in the production of lubrification oils, textile industry, leather industry and additive for cement.

Application in polyurethane: 

Triisopropanolamine can be used as auxiliary filler in rubber and polyurethane industry, so that they can have special properties needed. 

Because the cohesive energy of tertiary nitrogen atom is higher than that of tertiary carbon atom, the tensile strength, elongation and tear strength of elastomer can be improved.
