Triisopropanolamine - molasses as reinforcement cement grinding aid

The grinding aid and reinforcing effect of triisopropanolamine (TIPA)- molasses compound grinding aid on cement were studied, and the grinding aid mechanism and reinforcement mechanism were discussed. The results showed that the composite of TIPA and molasses in a certain proportion can increase the specific surface area of the cement by 20-25 m2/kg, decrease the residual of 45 μm by 2.2% to 3.1% (absolute value), increase the compressive strength in 3 days, and increase the compressive strength in 28 days. The strength is increased by about 10%, showing good grinding and post-strength effects. In this case, TIPA-sugar molasses was used as a reinforcing grinding aid to replace clinker with a mixture of more than 5% on the premise of ensuring the strength of the cement.
