Introduction to Nonionic Surfactant-Emulsifier AEO Series
Fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether, also known as ethoxylated alcohol, is the fastest-developing and most widely used type of nonionic surfactant. It has developed extremely rapidly in recent years and has partially replaced sodium alkylbenzenesulfonate as the main active ingredient in household detergents. It is also an important variety of industrial surfactants.
Introduction to Emulsifier AEO Series
When the carbon atoms of fatty alcohol are C12~14, it is usually used as an emulsifier AEO. Emulsifier AEO2~3 is not soluble in water and is usually used as a raw material for synthesizing highly efficient anionic surfactants such as AES, AEC, and AESS. It has emulsification, dyeing, and penetration properties and can be used as a dyeing agent, wetting agent, and component of various oils in the textile industry. Emulsifier AEO5, 6, 7, 9 are oil-soluble emulsifiers and are mainly used as the active ingredient in wool detergent, wool degreasing agent, fabric detergent, and liquid detergent in the textile industry. They are also used as industrial emulsifiers. Emulsifier AEO7, emulsifier AEO9, and emulsifier AEO10 have good wetting, emulsification, and dirt-removing properties and are used as active ingredients in detergents, textile detergents, and wetting agents. Emulsifier AEO15 and AEO20 have good emulsification, dispersion, and dirt-removing properties and are used as dyeing agents in the textile industry, metalworking cleaners, and emulsifiers in cosmetics, pesticides, and printing inks.
