Polyethylene glycol peg400 is a mixture of ethylene oxide and water ring opening polymerization. The molecular formula is HO(CH2CH2O)nH, where n represents the average number of oxyethylene groups.

Properties: This product is colorless or almost colorless viscous liquid; Slightly smelly.
Solubility: This product is easily soluble in water or ethanol, but insoluble in ether.
Relative density: The relative density of this product (Appendix VI A) is 1.110 ~ 1.140.
Viscosity: The kinematic viscosity of this product (GDiyi method in Appendix VI) should be 37 ~ 45mm<2>/s at 40℃ (the inner diameter of the capillary is 0.8mm).
