  • Effect of Diethanolisopropanolamine on the Grinding and Properties of Portland Cement
    The grinding characteristics of DEIPA in Portland cement grinding were studied. The effect of DEIPA on the grinding process and the comprehensive properties of the powder was investigated. The results showed that DEIPA promoted the grinding process of cement. The grinding time of the cement is shortened; the content of fine particles smaller than 5 μm is reduced, and the particle size distribution is changed. DEIPA increases the particle uniformity and roundness of the grinding sample, improves the agglomeration of the particles, and reduces the angle of repose of the cement powder. The powder refraction angle with 0.015% DEIPA was reduced from 41.5° (reference) to 36.5°.The DEIPA as portland cement admixutres have good advantages in cement grinding and increase cement 28 days strength.
