Test index of cutting fluids

The main test items stipulated in GB/T 6144-2010 "Synthetic cutting fluid" are:

1. Appearance detection index requirements

Liquid cutting fluid requirements: no stratification, no precipitation, uniform liquid concentration

Paste cutting fluid requirements: no different phase precipitation, uniform paste

Condensed solid powder requirements: no hard caking, easy to dissolve in water uniform powder

2, storage stability test refers to the requirements of no stratification, phase change and gel, etc., after the test can be restored to the original state

3. Transparency detection refers to the requirement of transparency or translucency

4, corrosion test to use cast iron, copper, aluminum alloy test piece for detection

5. Rust prevention test requires a temperature of 33-37 degrees Celsius. Single piece of rust prevention test needs to pass 24 hours of detection to be qualified, and laminated rust prevention test needs to pass 4 hours of detection to be qualified

6. In addition, synthetic cutting fluid testing items also include defoaming property, pH value, surface tension, maximum non-stuck bite load PB value, adaptability to machine tool paint, concentration of nitrogen dioxide and other indicators
