What is Surfactant AES? What are its advantages? In what fields is it generally suitable for use?
aes scientific name fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sodium sulfate, also known as ethoxylated alkyl sodium sulfate, fatty alcohol ether sodium sulfate Performance: This product does not freeze above 5 degrees Celsius, the use effect is good. Chemical formula: RO (CH2CH2O) 3SO3Na (R=C12~C15).
This product is white or yellow gel paste, easily soluble in water, is a good performance of anionic surfactant. AES has excellent decontamination, emulsification, foaming properties and hard water resistance, and mild washing properties do not damage the skin.
Applications:
1, widely used in shampoo, bath liquid, dishwashing detergent, composite soap and other washing cosmetics; Used in textile industry wetting agent, cleaning agent, etc.
2, washing industry: as a non-ionic surfactant, emulsification, foaming, decontamination effect. It is the main active ingredient of hand sanitizer, laundry detergent, body wash, washing powder, dishwashing liquid, and metal cleaning agent, but it is not resistant to strong alkali.
3, textile printing and dyeing industry: as a textile printing and dyeing assistant, plays an emulsifying role: emulsion silicone oil penetrant levelling agent polypropylene oil agent.
4, paper industry industry: as deinking agent, blanket cleaning agent, deresinizing agent.
5, other such as pesticide emulsifier, crude oil demulsifier, lubricating oil emulsifier, etc.
Note for use:
If AES is diluted to an aqueous solution containing 30% or 60% of the active substance without a viscosity regulator, it often results in a highly viscous gel. To avoid this phenomenon, the correct method is to add the highly active product to the specified amount of water and stir it at the same time. Do not add water to the highly active raw material, otherwise it may lead to the formation of gel.
