At present, there are about 200 companies that produce cement grinding aids in China . According to market survey statistics, the annual production of various grinding aids in China was approximately 1.5 million tons in 2014. Among them, the proportion of grinding aids that play a role in pure grinding and production lifting is relatively small, and various types of multifunctional grinding aids are used. Production accounts for more than 85% of the share. The multi-functional development of grinding aids （main TIPA,DEIPA）has become an urgent demand for users of cement companies. The important role of multifunctional grinding aids is shown in the following aspects: 1. It can speed up the physical and chemical change process of converting industrial wastes into auxiliary cementitious materials, which can promote more, better and faster conversion of industrial waste into renewable resources. It is an indispensable part of the sustainable development of the cement industry and the path of recycling economy. 2. The application of compound grinding aids in cement production can save the consumption of non-renewable resources and energy, and is the most economical and applicable technical approach for energy saving and emission reduction in the cement industry. 3. The application of composite grinding aids in cement production can reduce the amount of clinker used, increase the amount of industrial waste added, and increase the role of environmental protection in two aspects. 4. Compound grinding aids can conveniently and quickly perform cement modification work, produce special cement or characteristic cement suitable for market demand, expand the applicable range of cement, and improve the durability of cement concrete. In short, the application of composite grinding aids in the cement industry can simplify the production process, improve the quality of cement products, reduce the cost of cement production, and accelerate the recycling of industrial waste while satisfying society’s demand for cement. Reducing the dependence and consumption of non-renewable resources and energy in cement production, while significantly reducing the emission of pollutants during cement production, and effectively protecting the ecological environment.
