Better dispersibility: when used in cement grinding aids, the basic principle of grinding aids is the dispersibility of both as surfactants. Due to the spatial structure of isomerization of alkyl chain and hydroxyl group of diisopropanolamine, the dispersibility of diisopropanolamine is better than that of triethanolamine; The dispersibility is an important index of cement. In practical application, the yield increasing effect of tri isopropanolamine is better than that of triethanolamine, and the improvement of cement fluidity is also better than triethanolamine. 2. Early strengthening performance: both of them are early strength agents, but triethanolamine reverses the early setting characteristics of cement, so as to achieve early strength effect, while triethanolamine achieves early strength effect by promoting early setting characteristics. In particular, triethanolamine promotes the early hydration of aluminate, delays the hydration of silicate, improves the early strength, but shortens the setting time; triethanolamine improves the hydration degree of cement minerals by promoting the hydration and dispersion of ferrite which is difficult to hydration, so as to improve the early strength. 3. Late strengthening performance: triethanolamine mainly promotes the early strength, while triethanolamine greatly improves the late strength of cement by promoting the hydration of refractory minerals and improving the dispersibility of cement. Foreign tests show that the late strength can be increased by more than 3 MPa, or even 5-12 MPa. 4. The application performance is stable: the application of triethanolamine has obvious limitation on its content. When the content of triethanolamine exceeds 0.1%, it will sometimes produce flash setting phenomenon, which will affect the setting characteristics of cement; the content range of triethanolamine is 0.001% to 0.2%, and with the increase of the content, the enhancement effect will be gradually improved.
